Romance, Done Right

I was talking to someone recently, about how romance is tackled in the YA genre. Far too many people, nowadays, think that YA means that you either have to talk down to your audience or treat them as grown ups. Personally, I've read too many books that were billed as 'young adult', that contain at least 1 if not more sexually explicit scene. For some reason, there are some authors who think that 'romance' translates into 'sex' or 'sexy'. It doesn't.

Sometimes, subtlety is key. And, sometimes, you can say more with a look than with words.

Here at Write More Publications, we believe in the tradition romance. Something cute, romantic, sweet, and a little like Disney...so here's some of the most romantic moments in Young Adult movies, done right.

WARNING! Tissues may be required, for some, if not all, videos. Some movies are not suitable for YA, but the clips are.
