My Haunted Fall Blog Tour

featuring:

My Haunted Love
By: J.S. Wilsoncroft

Sponsored by:
Write More Publications
and
My Life With books and Boys

We are recruiting for the next blog tour from Write More Publications. This tour comes to us just in time for Halloween and spotlights the new YA book from Jamie Sue Wilsoncroft, My Haunting Love. Jamie has written many books, but this is her first strictly YA book. Take a look:

Calista Rose is a sixteen-year old girl who senses something strange in her new home. Soon she meets a ghost named John and becomes smitten with his handsome good looks and charming ways. Little does she know, falling in love with him brings out the true evil in her home. Can she survive?

John lost his life at the hands of his vindictive stepmother. All he ever wanted was a normal life and a chance at first love. When Calista moves in to his ancestral home, he finds himself falling for the special young woman. But can a ghost and human really find love? And will their connection threaten the very life of the one girl he ever loved…

If this sounds like a book you're interested, join our tour. This is a review only tour and review copies will be provided when you commit to the dates. The tour will run from August 30th to September 16th, multiple stops per day are fine. Please let me know the date you would like when you sign up for the tour.  Prizes will be offered to your followers. First prize will be a signed copy of My Haunting Love, as well as e-book copies for the second and third place winners.

Help us boost our tour stops. Use the attached tour button on your blog. The more tour stops we get, the bigger prizes we can offer for future tours. Write More Publications is growing. Come along and grow with us.

For more information or to sign up for the tour, please e-mail Rebecca Boucher at rboucher41@yahoo.com or Theresa Oliver at writemorepublications@gmail.com. Thank you and we'll see you on the tour!

Writer Wednesday: Excerpt of "The Awakening of Agnostos (Myths of the Olympians)"

Writer Wednesday
Excerpt of
The Awakening of Agnostos (Myths of the Olympians)
by: Jennifer Paquette and Nicholas Perrotti

“I banished that little trollop, dear husband.  I’m finished with your sordid trysts, fathering half the spawn of Greece. Do you remember Agnostos?  Do you remember how frightened we were, standing in the shadows, overhearing the story about the part of the world where our powers are useless?”
“Of course I remember Agnostos, my lovely wife,” Zeus replied, lowering his voice a notch, giving Hera a questioning look. “What about Agnostos?”
Hera tilted her head to one side, as a playful smile danced across her scarlet lips. She brushed away a jet-black curl and tucked it behind her ear. Then she stepped toward Zeus until she was so close she could feel the warmth of his body against her skin, and whispered breathlessly into his ear, “I have found Agnostos. It exists and only I know where it is.” Then she nipped his earlobe with her teeth.
He pushed her away with such force that she tripped back and fell against the marble steps.  Zeus pointed a mighty finger at her and an electric current jetted across the room and stopped at the fallen queen, creating a sizzling cage around her so she could not move or speak.  Her eyes were wild with fear and loathing, but she knew she had to wait out Zeus’ wrath.
“You will take me to Agnostos personally,” Zeus ordered. “You will show me that it truly exists and then you will take Hecate out of there.”
Hera stared at him while her electrical prison crackled and popped around her. She waited. As Zeus’ anger ebbed, the force diminished. Soon, Hera could wiggle her fingers and blink her eyes. She waited a few more minutes and then she was free.
She stayed on the floor while she spoke, knowing her words would make no difference if she was standing or sitting.
“She will never be free,” Hera said through clenched teeth.
Too interested in the powers of Agnostos to get angry at his wife all over again, Zeus kept his tone even. “Because you won’t free her or you can’t free her?”
Hera rose from the floor, kicking her gown back with a sandaled foot. “Your memory is failing you. If you recall the legend, once you are in Agnostos, nothing can free you. Hecate is not coming back. Get used to it.”

Tuesday Review: The Awakening of Agnostos

Tuesday Review

The Awakening of Agnostos (Myths of the Olympians)

"Not only do I love the cover of this book, I love the book itself. I took a mythology class in college a couple of months ago and hated it. It was so boring, but this book is amazing. It made the myth gods so much more interesting then the textbook versions. LOL. I was a little unsure at first about reading it but I gave it a shot and was truly amazed. The writers of this book brought to life the ancient myths and made such an interesting story that leaves you begging for more."

Synopsis: Zeus is at it again and his latest trollop, Hecate, the Goddess of Magic, pays the price. Hera, Zeus’ wife, banishes her to Agnostos—The Triangle of the Unknown—the only place on earth where the gods of Olympus have no power. Once imprisoned, Hecate stumbles upon a gateway to the center of the earth, and uses her discovery to bargain her way out of Agnostos. But the night after the Council meeting to decide Hecates fate, Athena is visited by a Titan who reveals the real story of the mysterious portal hidden beneath the waters of Agnostos. A god more powerful than the Olympians await them at the Earth’s core. To maintain their status as supreme rulers of Olympus, five gods must enter the abyss and fight this unknown god. Can the gods of Olympus learn to work together and save the Earth?
